Jose attacks life just like he attacked last night...I just wish all kids had his determination and fire...he is one very large reason teachers continue to teach...he shows us hope that what we do...matters...I'm lucky to know Jose...and to know that he influences many kids...and that's a good thing.

Your right Queeny. He is the nicest, politest, and toughest kid I know. I know that the other kids on the team love him.

Congrats to both SC and Gville, both teams played hard and wanted to win. Good job Owls on late first half drive and the drive at the end of the game. Good teams find a way to win as you did tonight. Also, good job by SC coaches making adjustments at half. Only allowing 5 pts in the last half, especially after the long return of the 2nd half kickoff, was key to victory. SC responded well the last half. Linemen got to stay on your blocks, can't drop "gimmie" pases, although last drive had two great receptions, and better tackling is a must. Also: Jjjjjjjjjjjooooosssssseeeee Sssssiiiillllvvvvvaaaa! Tough as a pine knot!!

Yep...Z you are correct. I will pay at your leisure.

The Kitties played well. They did what they had to do to keep it close. SC made the plays in the 4th to win...and that is the bottom line. I will never be disappointed in a win. There were several big plays on both sides of the ball. The Kitties will win several games this year.

SC has a good win to build on.

I can wait till next year if I have to. If I'm ever at a SC game this year, which I will probably attend another one, I will give you a heads up.

Jose has a little brother that shows the same promise. A 7th grader at SCMS.

Not at all impressed with the SC Owls. Struggled with a 1A winless team. Maybe next year

SC struggled with a WINLESS 1A team. Even though it was their 1st game DuD thinks they should have had 3-4 wins. DUD"s apparent great knowledge of football is impressive. So if he wasn't impressed with SC the Owls might as well pack it in. B)

You know Termite, we don't really care if bsDUD is impressed or not do we?

Heck yeah.......What in the world is wrong with you scoot. Being "impressive" is all that matters. Hadn't you rather be 0-2 and be "impressive". See.....I've done a little research. The school that ole DUD supports has a scoreboard....but they done keep score like everyone else does. They have 1 big gold star. The games they win, they win by 1 gold star to none because they were "impressive". :thumb:

Jose will have some big games this year.

If some minor things are corrected in the line, he'll be a superstar.

He was being hit at or behind the line of scrimmage too much.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
