Take my word for it: If Tyler Trew is not the best goalie in Tennessee, he is certainly in the top 5. His skills are often mindnumbing, especially last year when BA had a somewhat suspect defense and he had to make a lot of stops. He put up an impressive GAA despite a not-exactly-stellar defense. This year, though, the Eagles will be better. They do not have a severe lack of talent, and Coach Johnson will maximize their ability.

i totally disagree that juniors and seniors are ALWAYS the best GKs not is definately not true i have known many GKs that were sophomores that were very good keepers and the freshman arent always that good but if willing almost always improve to become better now im not saying that junior and senior GKs are not good but they are not ALWAYS the best

Now that the "amazing" Brian Cronk has left Bearden, who do you think the best keeper in Knoxville is? I have been the keeper for Knox Catholic the past two years, and I would have to say that Josh Elam is probally the best. He has been in the shadow of Cronk for a few years, but it is his time to shine now. What does everyone else think?

There is a good GK in Shane Fox from Anderson County High School!! I know that it's a small school, but i saw him playing in a couple of cometitive tournys and he look really impressive for a barey 15 year old kid playing in U-17 tournys!!!! He is about 6'2" or 6'3" about 175 lbs. And i would recommend going and watching him play and AC!

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
