Footballrulz, please get your facts straight. SM had 468 high school students registered on day 10 per Hamilton County as published in the Times Free Press. There are a lot of schools in Class A with larger enrollments. This is why TSSAA went to the 6 class system for football. It gives smaller schools a better opportunity to win the gold ball.

Also our 1st two games were against schools with enrollments over 700 and neither was close. It’s not the size of the school it’s the quality of the athletes and coaching. Just look at SP, one of the smaller schools but they have great coaching and athletes and will compete with anyone.

Every game counts toward the playoffs,

somewhat yeah, every game counts for teams that go 6-4, 5-5, not teams like signal that will end up going 10-0, 9-1.

10-0....LOL. Funniest thing I've read all night. Signal is decent but not that good. Then again, a school with 500+ kids playing a single A schedule should have a winning schedule!!!

yeah, you just another signal hater, just like the majority of people last year that said signal would never win even at jv with no seniors , then they go 10-0 blowing people off feild.

Then there still a lot of people say signal wont win any games at varsity schedule, and guess what, oh my gosh, they are 2-0 blowing people off the feild.

keep hating haha

What will be their enrollment when they have 4 full classes? The paper has mentioned more than once how the first couple of years, the older grades would be incomplete since not everyone would want to transfer from their then-current school (and there was no senior class at all last year).

From all over the county, that goes against what has been said on here about only mountain residents being on the roster.
