Chatt. Central defeats Howard

The Purple Pounders move to 2-0 on the season as they defeat the #8 ranked Howard Hustlin Tigers 29-28. Congrats to the Pounders and now get focused and ready for week 3 vs. Silverdale.

Man, I was not expecting Central to beat Howard, Coach Barger has really got these boys ready to play. I am not going to lie, I did not think they would do that well this year.. I think they will be 3-0 after this week. Keep up the good work Central.

i cannot believe that central has even come close to winning a game.

i am truly amazed after watching signal whip them up and down the feild in multiple scrimmages.

their coach has put them into a drastic change for sure.

Slowly but surely, the Pounders seem to be making the turn. A great win last night. Stay focused and take care of business next week.

Not to take anything away from Central because they came in and hit us in the mouth... Howard is in trouble this year...Eric McCollough who every one knows is a beast hurt his back this summer but has still been playing...i noticed he didnt have a big game against Notre Dame and he didnt against Central either... well he didnt play the way he usually does...I was looking at both games and said he should be dragging these kids because he is a stud... after the game against Central he couldnt make it to the locker room he couldnt even walk because of his back so keep him in your prayers... And it will be a long season for the Hustlin Tigers without him...
