another blowout.

 

 

You all will win the game but won't win the battle of the bands... I was going to attend this game this week but I talked my cousin who is such a big ALCOA FAN into going to the AE game so he can watch the Chatt Brainerd vs AE game.. Then watch the real battle of the bands after the game...

 

But you alcoa fans make sure you try some of those chicken wings at Howard, they're good

Sorry I did not mention, besides Redbank win over Howard the other winner that night was the Howard Hustlin Band, they were outstanding to watch, very dramatic,and entertaining to say the least. Alcoa along with those chicken wings, the fish sandwiches are delicious. The Food and the band entertainment is worth the ticket. We already know how the game will end.

Turtle, That Brainard/AE battle of the bands will not be an easy win for AE. I remember Brainard coming to Alcoa several years ago. The band arrived late, and the game had already started. The show started soon as they came off the bus! Everyone in the stands forgot there was a game going on. What a show! :D:blink:

I think Howard could surprise some people....No, not in this game! Alcoa seems to be clicking on all cylinders. Coach Rankin will play everybody in a shameless attempt to get out of a pizza party. This one gets ugly (and stays ugly) early. Toney will average in excess of 10 YPC. Just another day at the office for Alcoa. :flower:

 

On the other hand, it sounds like the Howard band is really something. I don't know much about HS bands, but I saw Carter's a couple of weeks ago and wow! 175 kids! That is the best "small school" band I've ever heard.

Howard should be credited for scheduling this game because nobody else would play Alcoa when they were looking for a 10th game. The Tornadoes will win the game 49-6. I did go to Howard (the home of the great Reggie White) last year in the opening round of the TSSAA State Playoffs. It is a lively place to watch a game to say the least.

You couldn't have described it better after attending the Boyd Buc game. This is a very "Unique" place to play and if you don't like profanity you might as well stay away, that had to be the rudest and most disrespectful 20 fans I have ever seen in my life. Also if you want a descent seat get there early!!! The visitors' bleachers are in desperate need of repair and the consessions are far far far from cleanliness, so you might want to sneak you in a snack pack and some drinks. Many brag about the fish sandwiches but after watching them fix mine in the fly infested stand that looked to be a health dept. catastrophy, I don't think I will trust my health to it again. :mrgreen: Just a warning!!!

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
