Didn't Heritage beat Farragut in 2003? Was that on Homecoming?

 

yeah.. Was one of the most depressing things I have ever witnessed.

Regarding Heritage and homecoming, an earlier post mentioned 2007. I'm pretty sure Soddy-Daisy was the '07 homecoming opponent. From '01 through '08 the Heritage game was an early season contest. Typically, but not always, homecoming is a little later in the season.

Can some tell me if the freshman to beat West and AE or not. Sorry this has nothing to do with this game just like to keep up with the future of this program.

Heritage has been able to surprise Farragut at home in the past,that is something that they can take with them this week. Each week has had a lot of what ifs,there is no doubt that if Heritage does not have its best game of the year they will not be able to stop Farragut. Somebody said it earlier that is why we play the game. Heritage players and fans lets keep believing.

fsunoles, I heard that the Freshman and JV beat AE on Monday, but I didn't get to see either game. Freshman won 27-2, didn't get a JV score.

What is the status of Farraguts injuries, any to speak of? Heritage is still banged up a little bit. They seem to have a pretty good game plan for Friday, I just hope the kids can put it on the field. IF they can, this could turn out to be a good game. Good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game.

Further proof that with old age my memory is no longer dependable! That was the year that in the middle of the schedule we had 6 weeks between home games.

 

On another topic, this week's JV score was Farragut 15, Austin-East 8.

2003 was the last time FHS lost a homecoming game -- 22-13 to Heritage.

2004 -- W 28-14 over William Blount

2005 -- W 35-7 over Ooltewah

2006 -- W 33-7 over Bradley

2007 -- W 38-6 over Heritage

2008 -- W 44-13 over Bradley

Hey, ErikG. Io just want to say, that you guys do a great job with the Farragut games. Football and basketball. I listen every chance I get. I think it's great that you guys cover Farragut like you do. If only other schools were so lucky. It is always a joy to listen to the the games every week.
