gatorbait1984
Does Polk Co broadcast their games on the radio or internet? If so, which station(s)? Thanks
OldSchoolCharger
No they don't and in the past they have requested that opponents not bring their radio broadcasters either. They want butts in the seats not at home listening!

They want butts in the seats not at home listening! I don't believe that you can tell the radio station for a visiting team that they can not come and broadcast the game. If a school tried that, I imagine the TSSAA would get an earful. That would be the same as denying the printed press the right to come and cover a game. There would certainly be some freedom of the press and freedom of speach issues.
Indian
I'm pretty sure it was Grundy demanding no live radio a few years back, from visiting crews. Tape delay was apparently okay.
Southeastfootball
That's like trying to charge for parking at a high school football game. If you ever go to a highschool game and they are trying to charge you for parking, either just smile and waive as you go by or simply tell them it is against the TSSAA's by-laws and then ask them if they knew that. A few teams ran into that at East Ridge last year. That's a big no-no.
