MJ, glad you are better and your rankings, esp from an east TN perspective, are very accurate. Cookeville is probably a bit over-rated at #16 with no quality wins over AAA opponents and a loss to Cleveland (#21), 4-0.

Interesting that Master MJUHB has St. Agnes (not Agnus) at #1 overall.

Not that they are not worthy, they certainly are. It's just interesting to see them above Houston, Collierville, Brentwood, CAK, and Bearden.

Glad to see St. Benedict and Briarcrest reversed, which is clearly appropriate at this juncture, but a little surprised to see Hutchison so far down the list. They've earned a little more respect, in my opinion.

Good view of the rankings, but as always, rankings don't matter- you have to play your way thru.

 

It is not where you start, but where you finish.

Don't know about Brentwood, CAK and Bearden, but they should be ranked over Houston and Collierville. They are the best in the West, as least for now.

We all have to get through the post season....and, as always, anything can happen there! Baylor was taken out last year in the semi-finals which was a shock to all. I guess the real rankings will not be evident until November 8th.

I think the rankings for division 2A E/Mid are off, reflecting prominence in previous years rather than abilities of current teams. I would rank the 4 top teams on this side of the stae in division 2A as follows

 

1. St Cecilia

2. USN

3. FRA

4. Knoxville Webb

 

and feel this is the most likely order of finish in the region tournament. Would anyone like to predict 2A top 4 in the West?
