6A Playoffs the way I see it....after week 9.

You might be counting your chickens on Riverdale being #1 seed out of district 7 randymc.

Maybe, but I doubt it.

Dont count your chickens till all the eggs have hatched. Things could get all kinda crazy after week 10 especially if these so called underdog teams of Blackman and Smyrna come away with wins. Regardless of who else is in looks like another State Championship coming home to the best 6A District around, that be the one here in Rutherford County where everyone knows if your playing one of us your in for a long night. :roflol:

Believe me, I know this...but the title of the thread is "the way I see it" Smyrna is the team that has everything to play for next Friday night, and if they win, District 7 will most likely get their 4 deserving teams into the playoffs.

Independence is further west than some teams you have in quad 3 so you will to do some rearranging.

The video, http://tssaa.org/training/classificatio ... tation.htm says nothing about arranging teams East to West it specifically says "geographically". I am sticking with Independence in Quad 2 because it creates less headaches when seeding teams within the same district, and Geographically is just as close to Murfreesboro, Mt Juliet, and Cookeville as McGavock is, but farther away from Clarksville, etc.

I can only speak for quad 4 since that is what I am familiar with.

 

If Arlington beats Millington it will be like this:

1) Arlington

2) Germantown

3) White Station

4) Brighton

 

Each of these teams is the overall district champ and will get rewarded as such with a home game in the first round. This is also how they would rank in the tiebreakers as listed under the wild card section on the tssaa website. It takes into consideration if every team was a wild card and they have all the tiebreakers there.

 

As far as the other 4 teams:

 

5) Whitehaven

6) Wooddale

7) Millington

8) Kirby

 

This is also how these teams would rank as far as tiebreakers. Plus you have to take into consideration that Arlington can't play Millington in the first round, White Station can't play Whitehaven and Germantown can't play Wooddale or Kirby since those teams are in the same district.

 

So your matchups would be:

 

(1) Arlington vs (8) Kirby

(4) Brighton vs (5) Whitehaven

 

(2) Germantown vs (7) Millington

(3) White Station vs (6) Wooddale

I really don't think they are going to send Cordova to Seiver Co. They are grouped geographically into quadrants. I know you are a Blaze fan, and the only way Blackman gets seeded ahead of Oakland is if they beat Riverdale, which would put them ahead of Riverdale too. Seeding within a quad gets done by district finish 1st then tiebreaker criteria to seed the #1s, then #2s using tiebreaker criteria, etc Wildcards being last.
