Best Defensive Coaches in the state

Just interested to see who are the best defensive coaches in the state? And what makes them good?

Bill Duncan, Greeneville High School, intensity, traps and presses anywhere anytime.

Derek Wallace at Anderson County. He's never afraid to try new things to help his team win. Look for a great defensive effort from the Mavs this season.

Bobby Luna at Gallatin is excellent. Gotta be top 3 in the state.

Darren Joines at Beech with the 1-3-1 does a great job as well.

Livingston Academy's Richard Melton would have to be included. This is a young coach that keeps getting better and better.

"former coach" Dexter Williams... Liberty Tech. End of argument... unless you wanna argue that he is currently not a head coach.

Rick Rudesil from Bolivar Central is great as well as Jody Wright from Fulton. You won't find teams that play harder and more fundamentally sound defense than these two. If we are going to include retired coaches then, Butch Hopkins had a matchup zone that was devastating to opponents. Nobody wanted to play against it. Sure wish I could teach it like he did.

Jody Wright, hands down the best. There's a reason Fulton will be playing for three straight gold balls this season.
