The way you would actually drive from Craigmont to Lawrence County, on Hwy 64, it is 176 miles.

The sportswriter for the Cleveland newspaper said the trip from Cleveland to Columbia was 180 miles. Personally, I think that's ridiculous for any team to travel that far in the first or second round.

Indy to Arlington is 194 miles. Looks like there are some road warriors in round 1.

Even if this isn't the longest in miles, I bet it is time wise. Mapquest takes you off of I-40 and through Oakridge which is the more direct route. If you were to stay on the interstates (24, 40, 640, 75) I bet it would add 40 miles.

I bet if you actually drove Hwy. 64 from Craigmont to Lawrenceburg it would be even longer than that.

 

Wouldn't there be a whole bunch of red lights to go through as you went through all those small towns?...

well, if you dont like traveling for a little playoff action then dont, or simply win more games, then folks will travel to play you. I promise you this, as a player, coach, or fan, I would rather travel 300 miles to play in the playoffs as opposed to nto making the playoffs.
