straightbill307
Opinion Dad, I would seriously stop posting on here about all your complaints with the baseball program and the extra time spent at the field because your really making yourself look like a soccer parent. Sack up! Good Luck Harpeth! Can't wait til this summer.
redhawk29
Creek Wood pulls out one tonight. Camden played a very clean game. Micheal Donaldson picks up the win. Score was 6-4. Creek Wood's defense came up clutch tonight.
ksgovols
I was remiss in not reporting on Brandon Foriest's 2nd dinger of the year in one of the wins against Stewart County. Had to work Good Friday, just got scores and winning pitchers. Good job Brandon! Freshman Ethan Hurt went yard today in a JV game against CPA. Do it E! Hoganknows
Wow, just come in here to read about the Harpeth baseball team and get an eye full. Will the Harpeth Community ever learn how to treat a good, winning, hard working coach....will the trend of running off winning coaches ever end. The past 5 years you have run off a winning football coach, a winning baseball coach and a winning girls basketball coach...all who have gone and continue to be very successful at other schools. Franklin, Shelbyville and Kenwood are not bad places to be. Players and kids talk..they are your best judge of a true good coach most of the time...you can't fool them...and all Hogan has heard about Coach Jones is nothing but good things....so learn your lesson Harpeth Community and don't run off another good baseball coach. Don't let a few bad eggs ruin the whole basket...stay behind your good baseball coach and support him.
ksgovols
Amen Hoganknows! There's always gonna be a few Tee ball Moms and the typical P.T. malcontents, but I think the vast majority of the Harpeth baseball parents can see the progress with the baseball program and the facilities over the past few months. Coach Jones is not lacking in supporters, but all that is required to stir a pot is a computer and a screenname. I think the local goat herd is safe this time around. More importantly is that there needs to be definitive delegation. By that I mean that the school system needs to hire qualified administrators and get out of their way. The administrators need to hire good teachers and coaches and let them do what they pay them to do. All it takes to go to DefCon 2 in this county is a phone call or letter to a school board member and all heck breaks loose. We lose as many good coaches at Harpeth because of administration at one level or the other as we do disgruntled parents. I'd say more. They have worked very hard to get better and to come together as a team. It has happened very quick. Come watch Harpeth play and see they are having fun again. FORGET THAT .5 %. POOR LITTLE JOHNNY SHOULD PLAY MORE. Well poor little Johnny should work harder and Mom and Dad should get on the same page as the other 99.5% Thanks to all the kids, coaches, and parents for making HARPETH a fun place to be.
