All his crap was really getting old wasnt it? I'm so proud that Giles County finally made this man resign! Go Richland Raiders---we are so excited about the thoughts of a real coach coming in there and turning this program around in the next couple of years!

strange situation there with the zoning....students who live in richland zone can attend and play football at giles county high.but people at giles county high can not attend or play for richland!

With the hiring of a good coach can Richland pull their talent back or maybe keep some of the middle school kids from going to Giles County?

You right rusty there wont be alot of kids leaving richland, not because they dont want to, but they cant. If the 8th graders want to come to gchs next year they can, but the rest would have to sit out a year. I hope they get a good coach like all teams deserve.

How successful has the Middle school team been the last 2 years? How many asst. coaches are actually in the building? Does anyone know if the administration is trying to fill the coaching position with a person that teaches a specific subject (i.e. math, science, etc.)?

It's time to do what is right for the best players in Giles County and put together one team at GCHS. A co-op is the way to go, as much as a lot of us don't like to admit it. Richland can build a good basketball, baseball, soccer team, but it can never build a good football team with the zoning situtation the way it is. So give the best players at Richland a shot to play on a county team that we can ALL be proud of!

 

Tee, get it done! Many of us in the north end of the county WILL support this.
