SM defense has given up huge numbers all year. Anyhow......congrats to the Whole Cascade Nation. Better git busy them Bucs will be tuff in the swamp. pedo_29
I'm still in shock that Cascade went for two when it did.
Butchie
Excellent comeback Cascade. We have to stop spotting teams huge leads though. This is the second time it has happened and it will definitely get you beat from here on out. Tyler Bowen, HECK of a game!! Coaches great half time adjustments. Brent Richardson, your finest hour as defensive cordinator. Coach Carkuff, like I told ya after the game, you owe me a new pair of underwear. LOL. Talk about gamblin.. Personnally would of never had the Kahunnas to go for two with less than 2 minutes in the game. Gutsy, but as it turned out, the right call. Enjoy the victory tonight ans start focusing on Boyd tomorrow. They want yield a 24 point. I promise you that. Well Mike, Fencehumper Aint Gonna Like This Post! They have the longest string of games with a missed PAT going in Tennessee at the moment. And the funny part is last night those Pirates kicked a field goal for the first time in 10 years and the went 5/6 on PAT . . .
yeahbuddy
everyone that is making comments about the coaching staff for signal, im pretty sure the old defensive coordinator was dismissed for disrespecting the team, i will not specify the problem but coach price does not allow people to hurt the team even the other coaches, so they had to bring in more coaches. yeahbuddy
really? really. outside of coach price, sm coaching staff is very, lets say lacking with the loss of both weathers jr. and sr. i dont blame them for getting new coaches. binns37388
Pedo, I'll pass along some info a friend gave me. Coy Sisk was helping because the normal DC has been out with an illness. He didn't know if the regular DC had been out the whole season or not. In the first half, Signal Mtn was running a 5-2 cover 3 which is what Coy runs. In the second half, they ran a man coverage with a 4 man front. According to the source, that is what they normally run. You can take that for what its worth. Another friend said a TSSAA Board of Control member asked him if another coach from a different school was coaching on the sidelines. I really don't know if its legal for that to take place per TSSAA rules. I may go to a meeting at TSSAA Monday morning, and if I do, I'll try to find out. If the Vols go to a bowl game, maybe Lane Kiffen can get Houston Nutt to help the Vols on the sidelines. I do know that Tony Dungy gave the Rebels a pep talk last week at practice. Regardless of who was coaching what, it was a fantastic comeback by Cascade and ended a great first season of varsity play by Signal Mtn.
