5-Sport Dad
Whereyagoin'?, Greenbrier played a clean game. Not perfect, but clean. Sycamore was allowed to hand-check and push off on our players all night by paid and supposedly trained referees/officials. Since you must not know it, hand-checking and pushing off on the playground (and in the NBA) is done to gain an advantage defensively and offensively, respectfully. Both of those 'violations' in an official game is a foul. Look it up...or try these on ( ) next time you watch Sycamore play. Eagle 'coach' , Be honest, y'all had a 20 pt. lead and blew it...against a very young team. What kind of 'credit' do you want for that? You'd better chirp while you can...'cause I'm 'ona holla atcha the next couple of years.
Eaglepride00
Basketball is a game of runs. If your team is so young and inept, how come the only time you lose is when the refs take it away from you? Every team fouls. 44 and 52 put two hands in guys backs and push off on almost every rebound and it doesnt get called. I dont cry about it, I tell my kids to man up and get them off our backs. My point is, sometimes you just get beat and you have to give the other team credit for being the better team on that particular night. These kids are busting their butts to try to win just like yours is. You guys are playing well right now. I have no problem saying that. I haven't read any of your posts that said anybody not in a green jersey could do do anything well on a basketball court. Objectivity, grasshopper! thats all I am saying. Believe me, this is hard to admit, but I agree with the first sentence. However, where in the world did you get 'inept?' And '44' don't need to push off. He just outjumps most...especially yours. You're obsession with wanting me to be objective is more than amusing (your word ). It makes me go ! Don't you get it? I ain't a ref. I'm a fan...of Greenbrier...so I ain't gonna/gotta be objective. To the contrary. If you ain't wearin' green, I ain't for ya...on game nights. GO 'Cats! and good luck, Coach (you're gonna need it).
SOONTOBEGONE
Man I just can't believe that a grown person can be that bias, I must have been in a different gym I thought I was watch the same game, it is amazing how losing a game clouds the mind. Eaglepride00
Wow. I knew there was a reason i didn't care for Greenbrier. It's because people like you live there. You don't have to be a ref to be objective but you do have to be intelligent, so I guess you're out of luck. Based on your comments, I can only imagine what kind of terrible sportsmanship you are teaching your son in all 5 sports. You must be Bradshaw's dad, as I noticed he didnt shake hands after the Sycamore game. Great job, DAD!
phillip7811
First of all 5-sport dad is not the Bradshaw young man's father. Secondly the Bradshaw young man didn't go through the line to shake hands because he was being treated by the trainer. If you guys want to get personal with each other that is great, but leave the students out of it.
Eaglepride00
My intent was not to take a shot at Craig but at this 5 year old posing as an adult. Bradshaw is a good player and competes hard. I have tremendous respect for him. I apologize if that came off the wrong way.

Dude in one post you pretty much offended the entire Greenbrier Community, two very respectable player parents, and a very talented, scholastic, young athlete. 5-Sport will give credit when credit is due, NOT WHEN YOU THINK HE SHOULD. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but grown men are biased and kids (mostly 2 and under) are not. It has something to do with experience, influences, and environment over an extended lifetime. Dang - I must be biased (old) too! Actually, I must be drinking too much green kool-aid . And I always thought I was the only one who thought that if we won, the refs were great, and if we lost, the refs were terrible. 5-Sport, I wonder if that bias stuff is contagious. If these guys meet again, I will be sure to attend. Sounds like it will be a good one. Go Bobcats.

5-Sport Dad
Eagle boy, I've tried to ignore you, but you are a persistent cuss, ain'tcha? So, tell us, are you a War Eagle or just a plain Eagle (this is how you find out, papadoc...just ask)? Either way, you would probably have to say something bad about our children before you'd 'offend' me or Ogor. Living in GB, we are thick-skinned, I assure you. Ogor, brotha I don't know if it's contagious or not, but it's the truth > I AM BIASED > I don't care for lazy people, people that try to be politically correct, people that are in denial of reality, cliquey people, terrible refs, etc. These guys are just being PC or they're in denial (Eagle boy's already done messed up and 'offended' Greenbrier...and CB...'cause he didn't shake hands after a game ). My Eagle Pride comes from the school that I attended for college. (See college is where people, outside GB, go after high school to recieve further education jk) But has nothing to do with where I am currently working. I teach high school, coach an aau team and do some scouting for a few of my friends who coach at the college level. So, I am niether, & lack bias as it pertains to this situation. Because you are so biased, I think it is fun to get you all fired up. I appreciate your passion and try to use it to get a rise out of you. I really mean no harm. I dont know you but I am sure you are a good parent. If you weren't you wouldnt care so much about your kid's team.
