But no, instead you come on here and get me upset for no reason! I NOW give you that , (what is now a fricken KICK) in the a....BUTT.....and tell you to MOVE ON!!!

Since I got your attention, what is the scoop on Coleman. I truly hope that he is able to get back in playing shape in a hurry to open some doors and turn some heads. However I would hate to see something hurt him long term. Also how good is the Milan qb. I know it is his first year to start. Is he as good as J. Coleman? how is he different? btw, Milan's board has been pretty lame this year with little participation. Looking around on other boards and there seems to be much more excitement for teams that are no where near as good as Milan. Hope the crowds haven't slacked for the games. Your team is deserving of the best support in the state as you are truly a winning "program"

Camden, how many yards/game do you guys average. Do you have one feature back or do you run by committee? How good is your defense? With Milan facing some week opponents over the past couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see how they react to some tough situations by a good defense. Is the Gaskin qb a senior? Your program has really come a long way over the past few years and you should be very proud.

 *sigh* I guess I'll suck it up and respond. Not sure why the boards have been slacking. I noticed that myself actually. Part of it was the fact we started out the season...well HURT! But we all got back to 100% quick.

As for Coleman, talked to Morris on Saturday, and he said he's BACK!!! Yay! He doesn't wanna over do it, so he's just gonna play it by ear and see how it goes. He'd rather have him in the championship game (as long as we continue to roll) than risk re-injury. IMO, Ryan is awesome. Most people overlook the fact that this is his FIRST year starting. As good at Jr...eh idk. I honeslty haven't gotten to see him play this year. It's been all Stevie Ray on 93.7 for me this year due to the fact I work nights now! However I WILL be at the game Friday, and I'm UBER excited!!!

If you're wanting some more hard core stats, go to www.milanhighsports.com and you'll find any and all the stats you need on the Bulldogs! And there are links to Camdens page as well!

Just a fun fact....I looked up some stats the other night and Milan is ranked number 11 in all time wins in the state of TN. Only team in 2A higher....well of course Alcoa. So again IMHO....Milan deserves everything they earn. Call it "cupcake" if you want....they still stand out among the rest of the state in class 2A!!!

howdoitknow......as a Milan fan I want to welcome Camden and their fans to the third

round. Stop pinching yourself, it's real, you've made it. That's not to say it's gonna

be fun for you or your Lions. As far as getting hit back, I wouldn't think that would

be on Coach Morris's top ten list of things to look out for. Camden will be just another

cup cake on the road to Cookeville. Milan 48 Camden 0. That's right 0.

The TOP TEN THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR will come on a later post!!!

I would like to officially welcome Milan to the 2009 TSSAA State Playoffs. How will the Bulldogs respond when the team on the other side of the football actually hits back this week?????

I would like to welcome "howdoitknow" to the bandwagon. Get on while there is still room. I know the last few wagons you were on had a bad wreck!!! This wagon takes one stop a time!!! So the good thing is if you miss it this week you can still get on next week.

We are well aware of how physical Camden will be this week. They are great up front from what I hear, possibly the best we have seen this year. But that is what this time of year is all about. Handling things you haven't seen before, seperates the men from the boys. Go Milan - Go Bulldogs

Milan by 14-21

I don't think that Ryan is quite as good as Jr was, but he is still very good. Especially in the 2nd half of the season. He is just about as good a QB as you will see in W. Tenn.

Also, you make it sound like we have not played anybody this year. Yes, we have had an easy 2 rounds, but we got the easy 2 rounds because of our dominance in the regular season. We beat a few pretty good teams with pretty good defenses. Many of the guys on this defense saw Alcoa last year too, so I don't think there is anything that will spook them against anyone else.

To be honest, I was quiet concerned at the beginning of the year, even with the injuries, that Milan wasn't easily handling the good teams they faced. I know there were some injuries and illnesses, but I was really surprised to see what Huntington's offense did against that stout Milan defense even though I know Holder was for real. However, over the past several weeks, the defense has been incredible. I just hope they keep rolling. Getting CC back should only help! I've heard Camden is the real deal at the LOS and Milan will really have there hands full winning in the trenches.

Milan is, and always will be, a great football program. Morris is a great coach and those guys just continue to put together powerhouse football teams year after year after year. With that being said I must say that Milan still HAS NOT WON A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP this decade. They have enjoyed a lot of good playoff success but in the end they have always seemed to fail against an elite team somewhere in the later rounds of the playoffs. Need proof?????

2000: lost in the 2nd round to Jackson South Side (eventual state semifinalist)

2001: lost in the 2nd round to Westview (eventual state runner-up)

2002: lost in the quarterfinals to Mitchell (eventual state runner-up)

2003: lost in the semifinals to Huntingdon (eventual state champions)

2004: lost in the semifinals to Huntingdon (eventual state runner-up)

2005: lost in the quarterfinals to Huntingdon (eventual state semifinalist)

2006: lost in the semifinals to Goodpasture (eventual state runner-up)

2007: lost in the quarterfinals to Peabody (eventual state semifinalist)

2008: lost in the state championship game to Alcoa (eventual state champions)

Is 2009 going to produce a state championship on the gridiron for Milan????? While the Bulldogs have enjoyed great success in the postseason they have really never (this decade) been able to put it together week after week to reach the ultimate goal of winning a state title. Now that the tune-up games are over it is time for Milan to square off against 3 elite teams in their class. Camden will be the first of those 3 tests. Can Milan pass the test????? We're about to find out week-by-week
