If the weather holds off the district tourney begins this evening at Central Station. Extra work has gone in to get the 4 year old gym ready for the 13AA fans. :thumb: GC comes in winning the coin toss and the Lady Pioneer head coach called heads(I told everyone by the way that it would be heads) So GC is the #1 seed. Watch out for teams like Haywood who have taken some of the top teams to the brink of late

OC is playing on their home floor and went 10-1 this season. That only loss coming to the defending state champions. OC/GC are the favorites. if the players who are supposed to provide the offense step up and show up this could be one for the ages. Reedy, Butler, Griffin are a triple threat and Courtney Haynes has been known to hit big shots in close games. OC counters with Miss Basketball Finalist Chassidy Fussell(26 ppg) and Sophmore Macy Wright(12 ppg) Mackenzie Tucker and Katie Pate must score as well and Senior Olivia Grady(by the way GC Pioneer, the last name is GRADY :thumb: ) she along with Wright and Fr. Paige Hicks did a nice job defensively on Heather Butler in the 2nd half of the game at GC. Everyone knows what everybody is going to do and could possibly do- so it comes down to who executes the best win come out of this 13AA tournament as Champs.. Best of luck and as always ...

GETCHA POPCORN READY!! :thumb:

No problem GC, by the way, as of this writing the tournament has been postponed until tommorrow evening and they just called off school in Obion Co. for Tuesday :? Don't know if that will have any bearing on the start of the tournament.. At this pace we may get going by Early April :roflol:

Save ya popcorn, but get it ready :thumb:
