If she blew out her knee (and they would already know this by physical exam) I don't think Cannon can hang with LA or Upperman. They really don't have another post player who can replace her.

I think you'll see her playing when the lionettes take the court. But if not I think they will be just fine. When she went out in the game at UHS it hurt a little on the boards but others stepped up in a big way. The defense adapted well and #34 Payne hits some big shots along with #23 King. There was a look on the whole teams faces and I promise you it wasn't panic!!!

I know this will get told to her so I'll say it: Taylor King is one of my most favorite players to watch. She's talented, has heart, great length, and can and will do whatever she is asked to do my her coach. I love watching the kid play.

I have to agree with you here. The light has really come on. She did a tremendous defensive job on LA's stud. I could be wrong but I think her mother played on the Cannon County team that won the state championship.

Do the Dekalb Co girls have a shot tonight? How long has it been since they made it to the Region? Coach Cope has done an unbelievable job reviving the program this year.

I've seen Ruehlen, Jordan, and Payne play. Cannon won't skip a beat.

If you think Cannon Co. won't miss a beat if Ruehlen is out, I'd like to borrow those rose colored glasses. On second thought, I don't need them. I don't believe they'll help once the action starts. Hope she's in the line-up the next time CC takes the floor.

BigDaddy, Looks like Dekalb's much closer than expected loss to Cannon Co wasn't a fluke. It was apparent they've been getting better but a win over York ( if Brown played) is a shocker. IMO
