I see the post above by West has all the teams playing Thurs. night but according to the brackets on Coach T the games are on Friday Feb. 26 at home gym of the top 2 teams in each district...The next game will be March 1..Then the finals will be March 3rd....Looks like the sub-state games will be played March 6th..Looks like every team in the State in Single A are playing the same nights..At least that's how I'm seeing the brackets.!

Bigster - while most regions will begin play on Friday, 7A will start with girls on Thursday and boys on Friday. They will take Saturday off, with semifinals Monday and Tuesday, and championships on Wednesday and Thursday respectfully.

 

7A watcher - the girls' championship will be Wednesday, March 3, 7 p.m. at Peabody HS in Trenton.

During the finals of the district tourney they announced that the 1st round games would be on Thurs.

The first round games are on Thursday night, the semifinals on Saturday, and the finals on Tuesday. I dont think they will take off saturday because that would put the championship game on Wednesday night. I cant remember when a Region 7A championship game was played on a wednesday. This is just my take. On predictions: Gleason over Bradford by 8, LC beats the brains out of McKenzie, Greenfield over WC by 12, and Dresden over Humboldt in OT!! lol Just Kidding! Humboldt by 15! Good Luck to all teams but more luck to district 13A. (we're going to need it!) There will be some good basketball played in the next few weeks in Region 7A!

I hope you are right. I would hate to see the championship on a Wed. night. A youth pastor friend of mine said that it did happen the last time Gleason won state. I am thinking that was '07.
