Heelsfan247
Well, one good thing came out of this weather. Because Morritown West and CAK could not reschedule because of conflicts, we picked up a scrimmage with OAK RIDGE tomorrow night at 7:00 at CAK! I am very excited about facing Coach Day!!! CAK vs. Oak Ridge already! Dang, might have to make it out for that one.

chattablack
CCS v Baylor today. CCS v Brentwood and PJPII this weekend. Certainly should have an idea where we stand leading into opener with Dalton out of North Georgia. I am the middle school coach at CCS, hope to fill in the gaps in Coniglio's absence. He came by yesterday, doing quite well at Xavier.

BigG
Oak Ridge 2 CAK 0 We were 1-0 in the first half with the major players in. Both teams got the younger guys in during the second half. Game ended 2-0. As much as I don't like losing, I think it is a great start for coach Day and Oak Ridge soccer. While it is just a scrimmage, we both were able to see some things about our team that we can adjust. Good luck to Oak Ridge and Coach Day! BigG
Played a VERY talented Maryville squad tonight. 0-1 at the end of first, then Maryville scored 2 late goals in the second half. Maryville is a very good team. EXTREMELY fast, in good shape, and very aggressive. They subbed a lot and didn't lose a thing doing so. I predict they will make a good run at the state tournament this season. We are the walking wounded. I lost 3 more today.
