Mi Kees
Mo East defeated South Doyle tonight 11-3 Wheels kinda came off!
SouthKnoxPrince
You can say that again, MiKees. I have been impressed up to this point with the team and Coach Browning. I hope this was just a bump in the road. Looks like this bunch of teams are fairly close on talent. I have seen East, Seymour, Sevier Co. and SD, and any of these teams can beat eah other on a given day. I have not seen West, but I hear they are also in the mix. Should be a great district tourney!! Solo-mon 2
4/13 Mo West 12 Sevier Co 1 Everything they hit found a hole. Momma said that there would be days like this! Mo West has at least 2 good pitchers! They are definitely in the mix!

Solo-mon 2
Looks like Mo East & Seymour took over the drivers seat by sweeping SD & Jeff Co. No matter how it plays out in the regular season, the tourney is going to be interesting for sure! Every one has a chance! Just depends on who can show up consistently. SHS1
Seymour split with South Doyle. The losses are to S-D, East. Home advantage to the top two for the tournament. Pitching, as always, will be the key. No one will be able to afford to not throw their best in the first rounds. Going to the losers bracket will be exceptionally hard. Solo-mon 2
Yeah, I meant Mo East swept SD & Seymour swept Jeff Co to take drivers seat. It would be nice to keep the district tourney sites close together. I still think the 4 losses prediction earlier is going to be close to winning it all. jenbugdesigns
How will the teams be broken down? is it a double elimination?
SHS1
The will be two pools. The top two teams, 1 & 2, will host. I believe that 1, 8, 4, & 5 will be one pool. The other would be 2, 7, 3, 6. It is my understanding that it is a double elimination in pool and one game for championship at the highest seed's home. This is the format that I have heard discussed. Solo-mon 2
I have heard that it will be like our old 4AAA format...the pools are correct, but if you lose you swap to the other bracket. Double elimination with a true tourney format. I like this format better than 2 separate pools & there winners automatically qualify.
