Losers for week two in the Mid-State

Where is that sun? I got up a few times last night and heard all of that rain a hittin on top of our tin roof and I said what a way to start a week off. But we sure did have a good week last week so that is somethin to be glad for. You see the Good Lord knows more about the weather than we will ever know so just thank him for the rain and pray for the sun!

 

Now let’s talk about them losers for a while.

1.Metro Nashville Schools (Hillwood, Overton, Cane Ridge, Glenncliff, Antioch, MLK, East Literature, Pearl Cohn, Stratford, Maplewood, and we do not want to forget Whites Creek) ---some things never change and unless somethin happens these will be your worse teams for the year and years to come. Heck most of the teams were on break last week and never hit the dirt, while the good to better teams that were on break were a goin to them tournaments. Hmmm I wonder if these coaches are just a drawin a check?

 

2.Pope John Paul----wow what is a goin on over there? These good people went from the farmhouse to the outhouse very quickly. Never saw this one a comin.

 

3.White County----yep I have heard from a few folks that this could be a very long year and I mean a long year if you know what I mean! I have bet a coke that they would not win 5 games this year does anyone want some?

 

4.Tullahoma----man oh man what a bad year for them KittyCats…..unless something happens quick we will be in the top 10 all year long. I am sure glad that I am pullin for my team the “Football School” cause I think the CC ladies ain’t goin to be goin very far this year and them ladies down in Lincoln County just may go a long ways. I love supporting a winner!

 

5.Franklin County---now they went out and got them a new coach and thought that was the problem….well I hate to be the one to tell them ole wise folks over there that ain’t the problem. A coach can only coach what he has and they just don’t have it this year. If you know what I mean.

 

6.F. C. Boyd School---could someone please share with me why this Fine school is playin the sport of softball, if they ain’t goin play other teams in the mid-state or play in them tournaments why keep on a losin? Oh I remember they are gettin an experience that they will never forget, I believe that is kind of the way their coach put it.

 

7.White House---well this is goin to be another bad year for these ladies, I kind of thought things may be getting a little better but when you let other teams score more runs than you then you are goin to be on the losin end. Now here is a case of playin in to many tournaments because when you ain’t got the pitchin but I guess you are teachin the girls somethin and that is how to lose cause this is goin be a very long year.

 

8.Harpeth----well we got a chance to see them play and this team should have made it last week as well. Nice bunch of folks but not goin to be winnin many games this year.

 

9.Shelbyville the Basketball School---did anyone get a chance to see them this past weekend….well they better be lookin for some more pitchin cause they are goin to be havin a very long year without it! The pitcher got hit on the knee and I thought it broke her leg now that was a shot. I sure am glad that we are not using them loaded bats here in Tennessee could you imagine what would happen if we were?

 

10.Culleoka----well until they can win a game they are going to have to be on the bottom but I have a feelin that they will be movin up to a higher number real soon because I only see two games that they may win and I would not bet the trailer on that!

 

Well I hope you start winnin cause if you dont expect to make the Losers List real soon cause we will have a bunch who will not be a winnin this week. If you know what I mean!

Who made you the God of softball who thinks it's ok to post such rude things about YOUNG girls who are playing the game because they love it. Maybe you need to take a step back and realize that not every team is a Beech, Goodpasture, or any other team you put on a pedestal. Shame on you for posting something these girls and their coaches read because they put their sweat and tears into a game they LOVE. What even makes you wake up and think in the morning "hey I'm going to write something and post it that lets people see really how heartless and how much of a moron I really am." Shame on you because the "Losers" are the one who actually enjoy the game because they don't have parents or fans like you sitting there critiquing every move they make. You are the true LOSER sitting behind your computer typing things you know nothing about. You do not know these teams and what they have been through or what they are going through. SHAME ON YOU for thinking you are doing something good by writing what you did. I hope Karma finds you and makes you realize who the true loser of the mid-state is---YOU!

At some schools, playing softball is fun and the girls actually learn things about themselves and about life. Softball is a game of passion and not about how many wins you have. High School Sports are not mandated Rec Leagues just for having fun. Maybe you are just one of them there socialist who think that everything should be equal for everyone??? First I would like to thank you TBALLEXPERT for your kind comments for this "Newbie" on softball! I guess I have one question for her and that is why in the world do we have a score board at these games?

 

Now I have heard this down at the park that it was to put up to show how many runs a team scores or does not score. Then at the end of the game you look at the scoreboard and see which side has the most runs and we call them the winners and the team with the least runs are called losers. Now years ago some fat cat by the name of Doubleday came up with the scoring system to find out who the losers were and he thought it was a great idea to try and score more runs than the other team.....crazy for some but that is the way he came up with the rules so "Newbie" you now know that the team with the least runs are called LOSERS. The way I see it your princess team must be in the top ten, so if I had a youngin playin I would try and move her or you may be goin to scare her for life......bein on a losin team. If you know what I mean!
