So, the Oak Ridger article from the beginning of spring practice says the scrimmage with AE was scheduled for yesterday, but the calendar on the OR football website says May 20th. Was the scrimmage yesterday, and if so how was it? (Details please).

The Oak Ridge Observer recently had a small story about Spring practice. It appears that Coach Blade did not consider the staff complete last year and is now complete (adding Jeff Miner?). About 65 kids are participating this spring. The players are WAY ahead of where they were this time last year. Blade believes Valedon is a D1 prospect. Bradley Zulliger is a solid starter at QB, but Rian Hall is getting some reps at QB in case of injury (or just to mix things up). Aron Flowers is expected to have a big "breakout" junior year at DE. Sophomores Chris Ramsey (NG), Tevin Springs (CB), Ethan Wheeler (WR), and Zach Clark (LB) look like they can provide immediate help this fall (as well as others).

 

I wish I had more to add, but information is hard to come by when you can't make it to practice and there's little to no media coverage. Sad.
