wait....why are comparing west to central? central is not a good program. period. they struggle to compete in a division that west would run if they were in...win in your division central, then come talk to west.

West could not handle AC, Oak Ridge, you all would be fighting to see who would come in 3rd 4th 5th. You all need to do something in your division befor you all talk smack....You all might finish 4th in your division this year....

Central has beat west from 2001 to 2008 6 out of 8 times.... and you all went 4-6 last year you guys suck.....lol I would worrie about doing someting in your division first....Good luck sucking this year!!!!!

RunninRebels- in all seriousness, I think you should let the season play out because us Alumni's would love to see West compete year in and year out in football but it just haven't happen. As ScooterVol said the best of luck to West, Central, Maryville or whomever else that's been mention.. I'm just ready for some FOOTBALL...

West had the lead in the 4th quarter last year against Farragut and Catholic. I would call that "competing," but that's just me I guess.

CatCall, you're like a child......sheesh. You are also once again wrong. West finished second to Maryville in the region in 2006 and 2007. Well they may have finished 3rd in 06, but I know for a fact they were second in 07. So, therefore, they would have one the region in 07 without Maryville (and maybe 06 too). I also really don't care about the past anyway so you can just keep babbling. There's no recruiting in High School Football (atleast there isn't suppose to be).And ONCE AGAIN, West went to the playoffs that year and Central didn't. Remember when Tennessee swept Florida in basketball when they won the national championship? Gee I wonder if Florida really cares that Tennessee beat them!!! I know I sure wouldn't if I played for florida!

Ok Well past is the past and neither team made the playoffs last year.

And by the way Florida did care and that is why Joakim Noah came back to beat Tennessee!
