Frankie Traughber of Jo Byrns ! Remember that name, you will hear it alot, many will want to know how to tackle him, very strong with speed and a never give up attitude.

He's a rising jr too ! I'm glad he plays for the Devils !

2 people from SP that were left off that should be on this list are Jakoby Reynolds (OL) and Demetric Johnson (ATH)...Demetric can fly...I compare him to a smaller Rashwan Weatherspoon from the state team in 07

Tyler walls from coalfield can play with anybody. He is 6'4" and about 235 and has a great pair of hands and his blocking is the best part of his game and they have used it alot more in his first three yrs but it seems like they are going to throw to him alot more this yr with a new offense in place! And watch for his little brother at hb, he is going to be a monster too

Great to see Frankie Traughber for Jo Byrns on the list! He's definitely deserving! Two others from Jo Byrns that will be in the mix at the end of the season will be Brandon Holt (Bolt) as a DB and Cody Vaughn as OL or DL. I have to say I'm a bit surprised that 10 of 24 players are from Region 6/Districts 11 & 12. Wayne Co. & Perry Co. lead the way with 3 players each. Looks like that District is going to be a tough one!

Youngon, Old Pirate says you ar way too young to have symptoms from skillet attacks. Don't see any players deserving of ALL STATE consideration if they have yet to start a full season for ther respective team. The Pirates are loaded with young talent and many will accomplish some goals but...........think a tad more before you make some posts. Recon they don't give allstate for flying

Preseason recognition should be based in large part on 1. what a player done in the past.....and 2. what is expected in the future. Don't mean too water down any expectations but being a full time starter first...... should be a consideration.

Jest curious.............how many and who do you know that has been a preseason allstate player before they ever started full time for ther team?
