Pageman, its true, page finished in great style with a 2-0 finish against Siegel. Close but outstanding play. Before start giving a recap, this is the 7th-8th Bash I've seen. What interests me in going back and working with Pageman on these events is simple. In any field, to watch coaches and combatants provide evidence of the work they are exhibiting and the skills they have is interesting as it can be and just to watch will bring you back. This years bash brought some of the most intense play that the Bash has seen. there was much at state and the quality of play and the change up in coaching just about each match brought Oo's and Ah's from the spectators fans and generally JV players watching. The players at times were spectacular and the College/University coaches there got an eye full. Fans and Coaches gave their thoughts and where they thought ey could get better. While I was runninng on a short schedule, I saw some part of each schools performance. While I did not have all of the names, and i tried to find them on the internet, schools did not have time to have the schools enter them on the internet so I will describe players the best I can. When we do this again, whoever makes the attempt, we will do better. Great cooperation but the inadequacies were mine.

Brentwood, the host , held a great tournament and it was convenient. As you might expect me to say, I like tournaments at schools. More personal. Thats another thread and doesn't make much difference. Lauren Kaufman, os/m, found out last week after having surgery, she will be back in 2-4 weeks according to somewhat reliable resources and talking to her a more reliable resource. Brentwood played well with their outsides playing well.

Riverdale played with an injury filled lineup with Kirsten Taylor, outside, and their setter MIA. The loaded Riverdale were led by outstanding players Click and Ross whose futures are very good. For the day RD just about split their matches. It was a good day for them.BeccaSeigel won three, split ome against a surprising Centinnel, and was beaten in a close match against Page. Siegel was led by Faulkner, Smith and C. Gay along with Rogers along with great libero Becca Cutter on Defense.

Greenbrier exhibited very good quickness and according to their coach "were a very hard working group and were improving every day".

Franklin played well and split their matches and can give the top tier of District 11 a good battle but likely will play their best at the end of the season.

Centennial likely was the most surprising School and makes District 11 a definite 4 school run for the top.

While Blackman, under coach Rhonda Ross, has certainly raised the level of their play, 5 schools now seem to be in the running for the 7AAA title. Numerous players showed improvement the past few weeks.

Ensworth seems to have made a step forward in their quest for the D2 play in Middle Tennessee. Newer players have made the difference.

Page High School seems to be the odds on favorite In AA amd Molley Locke and .Taylor McGuire and a cast of many will make the School hard to beat

Ooltewah played well but needs injuries to Middle Martin to be a contendor. S he will be back around September 1 and has had an ankle injury. Ooltewah will contend for their District title.

Independence has improved and the improved play of Caroline Carlton is the reason.Coach Slaugher has added some players to make the run for district 11 ineresting.

Cookeville is still working on their rotation

Wilson Central is playing well in preseason and looks to be a favorite for

District 9.

Father Ryan is also working on their rotation and has started a little late. Ryan, as usual, will play a prominent place in D2.

Ravenwood will be a cofavorite in District 2 play. both of the Hudsons will make a difference.

harpeth Hall could make a difference but likely not a winner. Very good players.

Bartlett

seems to be a little small and cold not find much about the school.
