1) u guys r all retarded its the son-in-law game crawford knows the exact offense tht oaklands coaches r gonna run cuz they all ran it back @raiverdale together last year it was a battle between these 2 teams. 2) the only reason tht indy came back tht much is cuz they had touchdowns against brentwoods 2nd and 3rd string defenses. this will b a game of brentwoods offense mixing some run and then killing ohs with the passing game when oakland puts 8 players in the box. they cant play man against Ashcraft or Springer for Brentwood. Brentwood 23-20

I dont remember the game last year being a battle. The game should come down to coaching and a good coach is always prepared for whatever. Oaklands offense is not one dimensional this year. Mayberry can/will run it right at you and Adams can/will put it in the air. 14 points is all Oakland will need to win this one.

Exactly. If you havent seen Oakland this year, then you will be in for a suprise if it is the same philosophies/strategy from the first 2 seasons. Oakland had no problem disposing of Brentwood last year when they spread the field. Some of the concepts from Rankin's tenure at RHS are similar, but by no means is it a carbon copy. Will be strength v. strength: Brentwood's QB v. Oakland's Secondary

Oakland is about to enjoy a long stretch of success. They have jumped on the "IB" program bandwagon that allows students to come from across the county to be able to graduate with an IB diploma. Normally, this is a very difficult program for only a select few.

Here's the Oakland twist that will put them above most other schools in football. Students (athletes) have to only qualify to get in to be allowed to stay at Oakland for four years to graduate. They do not have to pass IB courses, they do not have to even stay in the IB program, but they get to stay at Oakland (and play).

Hillsboro took advantage of the IB program to help them with a string of great seasons. A coaching hire that didnt match the program has really hurt Hillsboro.

Franklin does the IB tango (as well as auto body and cooking classes) and beats schools around the county with Centennial players.

last year oakland won 27-7 in a 4th qurater full of bad calls. bhs had a pick on the 12 yd line tht was clearly in bounds tht they called off and lead to an oakland TD then bhs recovered an onside kick tht was called off by bome blind referee and if the right calls would have been made Brentwoods 2 minute offense would have made 4 a fun finish. ohs's RB is the same as last year all they have is power, iso, strong toss, boot, and little short passes. Brentwood will slow the oakland Dline down by freezing them on 4th downs, and making them cover option rb, qb, and pitch, as well as the homerun ball. and they r physical but not fundamentally sound enough to do tht

and Brentwood is 38-1 when they rush for over 200 yds and last week bhs had 11 players rush for 298 yds which shows tht oakland is gonna have to stop Brentwoods depth, fundamentals, and skill

There's a rumor that they are undefeated when scoring more points than the other team but I find it hard to believe they didn't slip up in at least one of those games! :thumb:

YES! This is what I tried to say on another post, but I got in trouble for saying it. Franklin does it other ways also, but the auto body and cooking classes have been getting Centennial players for years. I could really go into it, but I won't. I like being able to come on CoachT and talk football. IB is not the way they go after our boys over here at Centennial, but it is the same type of recr******! Oh, I can't say the word. :roflolk:

For this game I say Oakland takes it, but Brentwood keeps it close for most of the game.

Name names of players that we have taken from Centennial. I bet you can't do it. Quit making false remarks.
