Your just a old man rambling. Nothing you say even makes any since anymore. Its sad really.

Just as I thought… typical Waco answer or should I say no answer as usual. :roflol: You know… your best bet is when you see CAP1 come into the game/conversation… instead of rushing into the game/conversation blindly and ill equipped, just stay on the sidelines beside the water cooler where you belong. :thumb:

I know, If ifs and buts were candy and nuts wed all have a merry christmas.

What if the mighty were to fall? The time is now not years past. I know DB wants to prove that last year was a fluke. Which they have. Maybe not this game, but I know this one would hurt the worst. I don't see a DB loss happening at least til playoff time, but what if? Do the wheels fall off?

Lets see now....You were picking Tennessee High to beat Greenville tonight. Who's ill equipped? And where do you belong? You see, I always win in the end. Once again my point is proven. You need to find a new hobbie dude.

Can you find fault with or take issue with anything that I stated. If so lets hear it. If not you can either say “yep… he’s rightâ€, or you can simply keep your mouth shut. But you can save your empty Sarah Palin questions for somebody else. ;)

You're ghost ridding the cart while sitting on the horse at the top of the hill if you even consider KPT before you figure out how to get around THE GREAT WALL OF GREENE COUNTY.You obviously haven't figured it out yet,But you want  Im gonna put this one back...Its a CROWS meat Buffet........CAP,you ever heard this before

It's time for our team to be prepared and not take this game for granted. An upset for South would do the same thing it done for DB last year.I never count a game as won until it's over .We look real good on paper this year going into the game. After the game we won't look nearly that good on any local paper. So,once again a paper is not worth very much when it comes to DB football before the game or after.

You are right on, Batman.... The Indians can't look past the Rebels and I know for sure, this is one of the games the Players want more than any other. I expect the Tribe to be primed and ready with 2 weeks to prepare for the QB Keepers by Hayden. If I was the South Coaching Staff I would have found another play or 2 to run because the Indians LB's will lay the wood to him if he runs that time after time.

As bad as last year was. When Roop spoke at the graduation about still beating our two biggest rivals in 2009 it brought the house down. This is bragging rights for all the folks that can see Bays mountain. It means a lot to both schools. It didn't matter that we were down and looked to be out last year. The South faithful came by the thousands to witness the mighty when they finally fell to the undefeated and top ranked team in the state. That was worth all five of the regular season losses that the Tribe had to go through as far as I was concerned.I wouldn't have traded for a 9-1 season in return for a defeat to South. The end result would have been the same come playoff time, but we kept order where we must again this week. The only difference is that we have a chance for the best of both worlds this year.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
