probably maryville, especially the last like 10 years.

......Trousdale County's record is quite impressive the last 20 years I must say.

Trousdale County from 1990 thru 2010......236 wins and 38 losses. 7 gold balls. TC may not be the best, but they definately should be mentioned in this conversation.

Alcoa, Brentwood Academy, MBA, and Maryville would have to be the top four. I am not trying to just add the most powerful schools, because smaller schools like Trousdale County, Knox Webb, Lipscomb, Milan, Goodpasture, etc have had a good 20 year run. However the top four, especially Alcoa and Maryville have had the best 20 years.

Alcoa, Maryville & South Pittsburg are in the top 5 if not top 3. If you go back to the 90's you then have teams like Marion Co., Cleveland also from East Tennessee.

you have to put trousdale over south pitt. tc has more twice as many state championships.

based on these numbers one could reasonably argue that trousdale is the best overall program in tennessee over the last 20 years! while some teams have just as many state titles (alcoa 7), if not more (maryville 8), we have more wins. and while riverdale has more wins (4) we have more state titles. there you have it folks, go ahead and crown'em!

I'll give another vote for Alcoa.

If all 20 years are included then I'm not sure that Alcoa or Maryville should be at the top. I think we tend to put them there because they have done so much in the last 10-12 years.
