Its kinda late for Daniels to consider another position, unless some 6A coach has a meltdown...he's there for at least another year.

Looks like the Clinton coach had the meltdown. It's in the Knoxville area where his daughter will be going to school. I'm not saying he is putting in for it but if he is interested it would be a great job for him and I think he would do great things there.

Clinton? Really? If he's desperate maybe. I wouldn't want to bear the relo expenses for a less than lateral move. Have you seen the real estate market in Chattanooga lately? Gotta really weigh the financial implications of such a move, although the move from Chattanooga to Knoxville would definitely be moving up.

Yep, Clinton. There is potential there just depends on how hard a coach wants to work.

 

I've seen the real estate market here in Chatt and it has held up pretty well. I guess you didn't see the latest census numbers in the paper up there. You know it showed Chatt as having the largest growth and rapidly catching Knox. Over the next 10 years we might very well pass Knox since it has become a stagnant city:) Oh, and a Chatt to Knox move would definitely be moving up, that is moving up North of course, and not moving up in prominence.

 

As for financial implications I guess it would depend on how bad Clinton wants a coach that has a proven track record of success.

 

Again not saying Coach D has any interest in the job. Just thought I would poke at you a little since you thought it was too late for coaching changes. From the looks of these boards there appears to be a lot of changes going on all over the state right now. Heck we have an opening here in Chatt at Central. That program has potential just needs some stability in the program. Also Howard is now open.

 

I need to say I hope Coach D stays at RB as I really do hope the program there stays strong.

      Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.

      I heard it was ugly.  Coach Harig and the Redskins demolished what is left of the Dragon Wagon.  At this point, it is not certain that Clinton will even be able to field a football team for 2024.  No way the coach keeps his job, transfers gone, nothing left.  Back to the stone ages for the Dragoons.

      Not even close, changing over 1000 grades?  Head coach changing grades to keep players on the field?  Not the same.  They will give Lieutenant Flip Flops the "Opportunity to resign"  right after graduation if not before.     Negative, the juvenile court judge blew the whistle.  Clinton admin, teachers and coaches started this fire.  Been going on for 4 years now according to Jones, one of the teachers that was fired.  This is truly pathetic.   The Dragon Wagon is #### up in the ditch down on highway 61 down there near The Spur.  Reap what you sew.
