I clicked South Pittsburg Pirates, but I only played Jr. High. Back then we were called grasshoppers. I didn't play varsity, but I was manager one year. I was a late bloomer.....I played intramural football at Tennessee Tech. Got Best Defensive Player award. So some of the guys talked me into walking on Varsity football. Shoot. I got a glimpse of how big those guys were and turned around and walked off.
