Demaris Peppers from Memphis Fairley High is a great candiate for top lineman. He plays Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle. He is 6'3" 260 Junior. He was invited to the Nike Elite Camp in Houston,Tx as a sophomore. He was also invited to the U.S. Army Combine as a sophomore. He has helped pave the way for our top rushing running back. He has also recorded 6 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss.

Landon Graham #30 Lewis County. 5'10" 245lbs. Benches 420+, Squats 550+, Power Cleans 340+, 4.8-40. 32in. vertical. Leading 12AA in tackles I believe. Head to head, no one on this thread would stand a chance. Ever heard the saying, "When the train is coming, you better get off the tracks."? Well he's that train. He's an absolute monster. A leader on and off the field.

Brandon Jennings, Demite Warren - Dyersburg Trojans

1st off Demite Warren isn't a lineman he is a fullback and linebacker. 2nd is if Brandon Jennings is #60 he is not the best lineman. The one you see the most and hear his name the most is Brent Lewis. I believe his number 58. He is dominant on defense and for a big guy stays low and punishes DL while he is playing offense. There is a lineman from Westview that is number 62 is a very good defensive lineman. He is very agile for being a big young man. He has great feet.

I agree..Terrell Rollins is a monster on Friday nights... I've seen him grow from a freshman and trust me noone has worked harder than "Big Rell"! i hope he gets the award... he really deserves it with the stats he already has..

The amazing thing is, is that Rollins is a cancer survivor!! He got cancer during his freshman year and came back his sophmore year like it never effected him. It's most be very very tough to go through that and get back to the level of football that he is playin right now...just shows how tough and hard working Rollins is.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
