So Signal and Reese Phillips go against Ridgeland and Vonn Bell tomorrow in a 7 on 7.

Ought to be one heck of a show. Too bad I got to work.

Work is now starting to interfere with football.

 

I hear'd that Signal and Ridgeland both looked very good in the 7 on 7. Phillips and Bell both looked like Saturday afternoon TV players. Probably a few more on that field that will see some TV time, too. Lots of good lookin' young players, too. If this practice was any indication, the scrimmage at Ridgeland Saturday August 11 will be a heck of a game.

We are all proud of these great Tennessee players! We all know Reese will be playin in the SEC next year, Vonn could not, but could be playing for a Ex: SEC coach. Logan Jackson heading to University of Memphis.... Word is.....

Childress ain't my buddy. In fact, I don't even like the boy so much.

 

I ain't got the danged resources to do bed checks, but as best as I can tell, everbody either was on the team last year, lives on Signal, or is a freshman. Them hosers at the T$$AA is like the IR$, though. If they want to stick it to you, they gonna find somethin'.

His grandpa went on to play at Georgia but his career was cut short by an injury. His grandpa's brother, however, I believe was an All-American at Georgia.

 

I recon Reese comes by it natural. I might have to see if one of the Trollettes can get a hold of some of his DNA, and I'll go into the cloning business.

Did not realize Reese was related to Stan and Tank. I remember those guys when they played back at Tyner with Gary Woodburn. Those were some good teams and the rivalry with McCallie back then was always a sell out.

No schedule that I have seen yet. Believe Red Bank, Notre Dame, Brainerd, and one other will be there.

 

Squatchy backed out. Also, heard that Squatchy held their 7on7 last Thursday after calling and telling us that it was cancelled. Looks like Squatchy's doin the chicken dance.
