Chester @ Covington

This will be another great game. Covington has had two "heart attack" games two weeks in a row. The heart of these kids is unbelievable. I know how good CW is b/c I helped coach him in middle school, but I also know how good the rest of these kids are 2. They will give everything they have and will not quit till the final whistle no matter what. Coach Wheeler and his staff have done an excellent job bringing Charger football back after a few down years. Chester Co is also an excellent team. They lost by a TD to Lexington and by not much more to Liberty and these were earlier in the season. They have hit their stride the last few weeks and have prety much dominated people lately, have an excellent coach, and will come to play. Should be another terrific ball game in Covington Friday night.

Like coachporter said, y'all really don't understand how good Carlos is!

Y'all keep saying this like we don't believe you! We believe you but like I said CC will be ready for whoever gets the hand off no matter what his name is!

When was the last game he played this year!

OK Covington. You have to be getting enough of this. Every week the C. Williams people keep throwing the he's coming back BS. Instead of the players getting the job done being the focus let's once again make it about C.W.. Give credit where the credit is due, the players getting it done.

Reiterate, knew it was about time for the C. Williams camp to surface again

don't worry about carlos williams. the other backs johnny white , carlos robinson , and terry person did us in friday night. the rebels couldn't keep up with them. been hearing all along that the qb would do us in and he struck for a big touchdown late in the game. he look like he should have been doing that all season. if covington didn't run so well that boy probably could throw for 300 yards a game. wouldn't be surprised if he didn't throw more in the following weeks.

represent our district well , covington , i think y'all could go to cookeville.

OK,I get the point.Carlos Williams is fantastic.Carlos Williams will play this week. The Chargers have come togther very well since Mr.fantastic was hurt and other backs have stepped into "his" shoes. If I were a Charger fan I'd be a little worried that all this Carlos hype might have a negative effect on team chemistry, and that he might have a little rust on the hinges too.I've seen coaches literaly wear unwashed "lucky" socks in the belief that "you don't change anything when it's working",and changing your lineup and/or playbook from an injured player returning definately messes with that theory more than washing a pair of socks. The Mr.fantastic comment was not a knock on the Williams kid, just a jab at some posters who imply(without saying as much)that he's so much better than the backs that Covington has been winning with in his absence, that no-one has a chance to stop them now that he's back...well,there's still that tenth of a percent, but I have seen him dance.

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
