Don't know what results you've been watching, but Milan is 11-1...you make it sound like they're 1-11...and Huntingdon did not give Milan a "beating"...Huntingdon defeated Milan in a close game...and Huntingdon will be 1A state champs....unapproved website, which is usually very accurate, says Milan over the 'View 28-26...I'll go with that..and if Milan doesn't win....Milan's coach will not blame the long trip for the loss like the 'View's coach did last year....he'll admit he got defeated by a better team...

If time of possesion is the key, Milan is beat. Very, very few games have they won time of possesion. Just like last night, Milan can not get off the feild, even on 3rd and long. This was a 7 point game with 3 min. left and WV had the ball. Milan had 2 pick 6's and the game ended, not as close as it was. Hopefully Milan coaches will soon realize the defense need Finch @ corner to stop some of the crazy 1st downs that are happening.Milan's offense is improving, but has to improve more. 14 stupid jr high penalties last night.

You left out a small stat, the main reason Milan comes up on the short end of the stick in time

of POSSESSION is because they score really really quick. Kick it to #3 and find out.

Both of these teams have great speed at the skill positions. Milan is the fastest team we have seen this year so it will be fun to see how the play makers for both teams respond. This could be the game that determines who gets to Cookville. I have a lot of respect for Milan they have proven they are a strong team by beating some tough foes, but so has Fairview. If your team is out of the playoffs and you want to see a great game be at this game.

You will not be disappointed.

Milan has made the quarterfinals each year for the last decade. It's no surprise they're back, but if they want to win a gold ball they'll have to fix the achilles heel that is the secondary.. Milan has enough talent at other positions that they've still been able to win, but like sls said, if they don't get off the field it will cost them. The offense has been playing better but has been inconsistent as well. True Milan is 11-1 and has enough talent to win it all, but they had better start playing like it.

I'm not predicting a score either but if Milan plays BULLDOG football, than Fairview will have a hand full. I think it will be close and advantage goes to the team with fewer mistakes and turn overs. Ball and clock control could be the difference. Sounds obvious but you never know!!!

Sounds about right Milan is Milan and will play hard. Wouldn't be a surprise to me if the Dawgs pull this one out!

Fairview is hitting on all cylinders. WOW Defense and offense very impressive friday night against a very physical Lewis Co. All players deserve Kudos ( everyone ) !! Milam is a very similiar hard bust you in the mouth kinda team , Going to be a very exciting game for both teams. May both teams leave with no injuries and Milam folks have a safe trip back. Fairview wins this 3rd round 28 - 17 with speed and greed.

Na, we tend to blame that game on the play that Milan scored a TD off an obvious false start. Nice Try though :thumb: . also, nice of you to go ahead and rule your team out of this game? looking forward to this game.

Fairview's ability to make plays in the passing game as well as on special teams is the difference in this one. Milan can play smash mouth football with anyone but the thing that gets them in this one is Fairview's diversity to make plays in more than one way.

Fairview: 28

Milan: 14

Pretty accurate assesment..... Being here at home helps too. :thumb:
