I'm a Vandy guy, so I'll give SC credit for the wonderful John Jenkins...but that's it.

Great player, led the nation in scoring but no state tournament. They were in AA at the time.

Do you think the teams that play tonight and Friday will have an advantage come to the state tournament? I wish the boys state was first, the long layoffs effect the teams. I have have been an assistant coach for 2 teams that went to state and we scrimmaged other teams in the state in a different class just to stay sharp.

Having another team to scrimmage definitely helps to keep a competitive edge but, I think it primarily rest on the mentality the team has taken.

Just want to congratulate Wilson Central on making the State tournament. They are District 9AAA Regular Season Champions, Region 5AAA Champions and clearly the best team 9AAA has this year.

I agree.  Central was clearly the best team in 9AAA this year.

Don't know why the Station Camp people are still trying to argue for their team (if that is what is happening here). District tourney titles don't mean diddly other than seeding for region.
