I don't post much any more on here. But Giles is gonna see the why the Devils are so good. These guys are crazy good. You will start at your own 20 EVERYTIME! The Devils will run run run it down you throat and run it some more. When you least expect they will throw a bomb pass for six too!

 

The Defense is scaryy good. I have never saw a highschool defense this good. All in all prepare for a butt whoppin!

 

Devils: 49 (52 if Coach lets Ogle break the state fg record from 63)

Giles: 7 (Score late on reserves) :thumb:

This is kind of ridiculous. We drive 6 hours and a time zone change, play on your field, you have 4 times as many seniors as we do, score multiple times on your defense that's gonna shut us out, make

I take it Giles has a great passing offense this year.That's the kind of team that may in fact give the Devils a tough game.That is if Giles has time to throw the ball.Greeneville has as strong a front as I've seen in a long time,so Giles will have to hit on the fast stuff to have any success in my opinion.I don't know what kind of team speed or how strong the Giles defense is,but they will be tested as well.I'm going to give this Giles passing game some credit for friday night and say the Devils 42-21.

Terrell Rollins has been punishing QB's all season. If them big 'ol boys from Fulton couldn't keep Greeneville out of the backfield, then the kitties better bring some serious beef if that gunslinger of theirs is going to be effective. The question will be, how much will Ballard use the 2 tailback set and how effective will the Bobcat defense be at stopping Jamel Hall up the gut. These seniors are on a mission...this week it's retribution.

I agree with everything you said except the score.. The devils haven't given up 21 points in 2 yrs, even though it was Giles that did it last, but still nobody scorin that much on the SHARKS right now!!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
