The SP players should be proud of their accomplishments. Today just wasn't your day...you made way too many mistakes to get the W. WC wasn't exacly perfect but they were pretty dang close. As for the SP coaching excuse... :roflol:

CONGRATS to WC - great game to win the gold ball. We are proud of our Pirates - there are a lot of teams who would have loved to make the finals. We will be back next year!

First off Congratulations to my alma mater Wayne County. I knew they had it in them the whole year and that this was a special team.

 

As for South Pittsburg, God y'all are FAST!! And your lineman are HUGE! The guy doing the camera had a hard time keeping up with #2 and #15 when they'd run the ball. The cameraman obviously had no idea where the ball was going when Wayne County was on offense either.

The game was the 1st and goal situation the Pirates choked following the penalty followed by the fumble setting up 4th from the 16. That was the key series.
