Underclassmen i will not reveal just to leave the surprise for the field.

I need to go check WC out......what are your scrimmage dates? You must have some really great underclassman, if it s a secret.

who does station camp have this year? any better players than normal there?

Hate to let much out, according to some there's such a huge gap in this district between those with historical success and those building a successful program. SC came off best season ever last year and with the starters returning should be in the hunt again in 3rd year of district play to advance.

Agreed, seen them scrimmage and their pitching is solid, defense only lost 2 starters and everyones bats will under the scope this year. Tough division play should tell. Rest of Sumner County is suspect at best and everybody knows how strong the Wilson side is. Should be a good year in 9AAA.

I know all the underclass players at WC as well as the rest of the roster, they are not bad, and if they can put the right kids on the field they can win some games.

I would hate to think I was counting on underclassman to win district games though

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
