I notice they forgot to mention that SP lost their several year starting center to graduation and that is a big deal. I am surprised SP was picked #1.

That is the 1a poll, not Class A. Class A consists of 1a + 2a.

1 and 2 look about right but still think some darkhorses are going to make some noise next season. We all know the only one that matters is #1 after the 1st weekend in december but polls are fun if we dont take them to serious. Good luck to all

Who is self-promoting?? Not sure I follow you on that one?? Thanks for the well thought out response though!! Anyway just asking what people thought about the first Class A poll of the year. Accurate? Teams missing?? teams to high teams? too low? Sleepers?? etc.Just ready for a little football talk these boards are slow this time of year!! rlh I am old school so I will always view it as Class A because that is what it will be when playoffs roll around.

Donovan Steward is a Jasperite so I think putting S.P. at #1 has about as much to do with putting the bulls eye on their back as any thing else. Otherwise he would have put Gordy first.

Gleason and West Carroll?!?!?! I mean really....really....come on man. West Carroll went 6-4 losing to any team over .500. The only reason they made it to the fourth round was because of the weak Quad 4, and the same goes for Gleason....come on man.
