Great way to start the season with wins over Coffee Co at home and a big road win at Siegel. The Cats will face some good teams in Mississippi this week-end. Hope everyone has a safe trip and enjoy the great baseball weather for early March.

After one week of district games, Tullahoma is the only unbeaten team in District 8AAA. Tullahoma swept Shelbyville by identical scores of 4-3 while Columbia split their series with Franklin Co. The same goes for Lincoln Co and Lawrence Co. There were no blowouts in any district games, so it looks like its going to be a good race for the regular season title.

Tullahoma upsets Farragut 1-0.

Junior pitcher Sam Tomes was great on the mound for Tully. He pitched 5 scoreless innings keeping the admirals off balanced with a 80-85 mph fastball and a good change up. Jordan Sheffield closed the game with a fastball that hit 94 mph.

I have to say this is the most boring 8AAA thread for any sport I have ever seen. Usually baseball is cut-throat. Where are all of the arguments guys. Come'on
