Willie
Re-read it again...I think you're talking about Chevis Hoover. That's him. Good player! What is the status on his future with college ball. I spoke to him some while coaching against Franklin County in the summer. I thought he had told me that he was leaning toward MTSU. binns37388
Great way to start the season with wins over Coffee Co at home and a big road win at Siegel. The Cats will face some good teams in Mississippi this week-end. Hope everyone has a safe trip and enjoy the great baseball weather for early March. Champs2011
I heard that Shefield was throwing better than ever and had signed with Vanderbuilt? Any truth to that? [/quo Someone "built" vanderBILT
spillthebeans
Yeah I heard Sheffield hit 117mph! That's awesome! Good luck getting past Stone and Columbia! Seriously good luck. Who cares how hard he throws you still have to have more than 1 and 1/2 pitches.

binns37388
After one week of district games, Tullahoma is the only unbeaten team in District 8AAA. Tullahoma swept Shelbyville by identical scores of 4-3 while Columbia split their series with Franklin Co. The same goes for Lincoln Co and Lawrence Co. There were no blowouts in any district games, so it looks like its going to be a good race for the regular season title.
wingman10
A bit suprise that FC and Columbia split Edited March 29, 2012 by wingman10
tailormade643
A bit suprise that FC and Columbia split Tullahoma upsets Farragut 1-0. Junior pitcher Sam Tomes was great on the mound for Tully. He pitched 5 scoreless innings keeping the admirals off balanced with a 80-85 mph fastball and a good change up. Jordan Sheffield closed the game with a fastball that hit 94 mph.

HSbaseballguru
Anyone know who threw in what order for Columbia? I know Stone won his game so I assume they went Slatton/Stone.
dooleydaffy
I have to say this is the most boring 8AAA thread for any sport I have ever seen. Usually baseball is cut-throat. Where are all of the arguments guys. Come'on
