VG, the story in Chattanooga was that it was a nudist retreat that was vandalized. Which one is right, Del?

The property is somewhere in Gruetli-Laager. Once it was found out what was going to be there someone trashed it pretty good. They've got a snowballs chance of getting that off the ground up here. People won't stand for it.

There's a church on every corner and back road up here. They'd probably had as much trouble if it had been a nudist camp for married couples.

Del (who has nothing against gays as long as they don't build a nudist camp anywhere near me and my kids. If that makes me a bigot so be it.)

Good for you Del......I know that community is not going to stand for that kind of stuff. That is why I love MS so much...they still believe in the old tyme values and the heck with what folks think of them. GC is the same way.

Amen, Del... I was born in Palmer and my Grandparents lived in Gruetli.... I wouldn't want to see that out there. It brings a whole lot of situations to the area that just shouldn't be. But, knowing some of the people there that I know, it would be entertaining to see how it all pans out... (I don't condone violence to any one person.. not saying that).

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
