Livingston vs. CPA

Interesting example this year of how useless polls are. CPA, if I am not mistaken, was never in the Top 10 in Tenn. this year even though they only lost 3 games (none to 2A teams) and won their last 20+ games.

Thats because CPA doesn't play anyone. CPA lost to the 3rd place team out of District 7A in Clarkrange. Not saying they aren't a good team because they are a good team but atleast play someone during the season that way you can be ranked! :thumb:

Let's see genius, they lost to Ensworth 21-7 lost 43-47 (state runner up), Brentwood Academy (we had girls out and beat them second time handedly and Lawrence County record of 26-7 in state tournament AAA lost 59-62. Who we beat 12 teams with a combined winning record of 245-108 and never lost to a One A team. Sorry "dumbfantic" wrong. Must be from Greenbrier.

My bad you lost to Ensworth who was beaten by Clarkrange. I wouldn't list Brentwood Aca as a game you're proud of as they were REALLY weak this year and like i said you still have a weak schedule.

You are obviously confused. CPA did not play any A teams this year. Just teams like:

FRA - State finalist Miss Basketball

Ensworth (2X) State Finalist

Lawerence County AAA elite 8

David Lipscomb (3x) 24-8

Franklin

Station Camp

Macon County

You got to love it when these people from the so called "christian" schools get on here and start name calling. Your school must be so proud of you. :popcorneater:

I corrected myself, i was looking at one of the teams schedules that beat CPA. Please forgive my mistake :popcorneater:

However thats hardly "murder's row" there as far as girls basketball teams are concerned.

CPA has a good team, the poster was complaining about them not being ranked all i said was play some good teams and you will get ranked. :thumb:

You can correct yourself again and apologize. I was not complaining about not being ranked. I just pointed out something most of us know anyway - that polls don't mean anything. It was a simple comment on the uselessness of polls, not a complaint. I could care less if they are ranked - they are in the Final 4, and that's all that matters. At least 7 of the teams (that according to your reasoning played killer schedules) that were ranked are done for the season.

Polls don't mean a thing. We won 4 state championships in a row and to my knowledge we were never ranked #1 during that period. What means the most is what happens on the floor. CPA has a very good team, should be a good game between them and LA on Friday!

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
