McEwen VS Cloudland

Cloudland is a team that never slows down throughout the game. They bring intense full court pressure all 4 quarters and many good half court teams have had trouble getting into a rhythm against them. I do think for Cloudland to have a chance to win, they will have to shoot above 40 percent from the floor. Inconsistent shooting has been the main weakness for Cloudland this year. As for athleticism and ball handling, they are as good as anybody down there. Oneida tried to trap the guards in the half court game and it cost them. Cloudland guards will dribble and pass through any traps and somebody will be wide open.

I watched some game film on Cloudland today. They shoot the ball really well and #15 seemed like a pretty good player. Their press bothered the team they were playing quite a bit, but I would be shocked if it gave McEwen too many fits. From what I saw, Cloudland will have a tough time guarding some of our players, but with the way some of their kids shoot it, things could be interesting.

That may be true due to mcewen's height advantage but the press will nag them.
