Real easy to tell a college, no thanks if your drafted. Know a kid just drafted today by the Padres, that had intended to go to JC in Florida. He has options. Sign or go play with hopes to move up to D1 or be redrafted.

Couldnt be happier for Adam and his family, his Aunt is a good friend of mine from our Cumberland days. He has great family support in any decision he had to make.

It could be their own choosing, my understanding, if they have hopes of going in the draft, they cant be signed by a college. If I understand it right.

 

 

By all means you need to sign a NLI as soona as you can.. it gives you more levarage if you are drafted... then if you want to sign a contract , tell the college sorry charlie.

 

Must be another reason why said player has not signed a college letter, but I doubt it the draft.

Not sure if we're on the same said player, yet he was going to JC in Florida (Chipola) and did get on a plane for camp with the Padres last night. Don't know how you're info could be more updated than that.
