CoffeeBreak
LeatherBalls: Thanks very much for doing this. I'm sure it required tremendous effort and coordination. This will be something the boys and their parents remember for a long long time.

FightinIllini
Your opinion or my opinion will have zero effect on his chances of signing, neither one of us will be asked to evaluate this young man. It's just that my opinion is accurate.
Crazefan88
D. Erie is the best catcher you will have seen in a long time, major league defensive skills, very good at the plate. K. Wood very good IF/P, very good hitter with power. Ok I understand boosting his stats a little, but don't say major league skills.. I've seen this kid play plenty of times, and not being the bad guy but he's lIke 5'6 . That's not major league my man

FightinIllini
He didn't say his size was major league, he said his defensive skills are major league I don't want this to end up about the player, I was talking about the comments made about the player. He does have the skills for the college game, hopefully he will land somewhere.

haebvols
Now you've come up with something that we can agree on. Hope to see you both there. Should be quite the collection of talent. Too bad, some summer travel teams don't see it that way.

Here are his batting stats for his senior season AB H 1B 2B 3B HR RBI 121 49 38 7 1 3 38 BB SO AVG OBP SLG OPS 22 11 .405 .513 .554 1.067 Catching stats: 14 picked off 1st, 7 of 10 thrown out at 2nd, and 3 picked off 3rd. Not many run on him. His pop-time is between 1.93-2.00 Verify them with anyone you want, Call Coach McNeal yourself. No he is not big in stature but you will not find a more dedicated player with the work ethic he has at his age. NONE of his family ever said he was a Major League Prospect.... any accolades Drew has ever received have been from HIS HARD WORK and TEAM PLAYER ATTITUDE. It is a shame though that all that seems to matter to anyone is his SIZE. Oh, and by the way Habevols..the stats are not to "self promote" I just thought I would supply them, this ONE time, since everyone seemed so interested in his ability.
