The one thing that has been good about us every game is our defense. Tonight it was not mcEwen played a heck of a game.

 

It probably didnt help your coaches any that they worked their defensive gameplan to defend McEwens 31-pro offense all week long and then get to the game to find out McEwen changed their backfield completely and stayed in a veer all night long. Not only were they not expecting to defend the highest point output offense historically in football but probably havent played anyone all year that has run one. HC is a tough team for sure and McEwen played their game of the year so far.

Thanks to McEwen and after winning tonight over JB, if CA wins out - they win D10A. CA has bye next week and plays final game against McEwen. At least CA has two weeks to prepare for both their offenses.

Great Game between CA and JB last night. Hard fought all the way through CA has to learn to wrap up in the secondary giving up way too many big plays right now on D, product of injuries and young players back there but those guys have to step up.

I misunderstood your question. I thought you said there was now a 3-way tie in district 10, but that's obviously not the case thanks to McEwen last night. With the CA victory, basically all Houston County had to do was win out to capture the title. Now, thanks to McEwen, Clarksville Academy is in that situation. McEwen still has both Jo Byrns and Clarksville Academy, so they have a chance to make it interesting over there.

 

I had Clarksville Academy winning that district all season, so barring a huge letdown to McEwen it's theres to lose now.
