How will the Vikings fare in the region with losing 10+ seniors and Mr. Football/All-Time Single Season Offensive Player Jacob Tucker? Answers and Comments needed.

They looked pretty good on defense Friday night. Everybody was swarming the ball and if the Vikings swarm the ball, play good D they will be in the game. Hope to make playoffs and go from there. PC has a very good region and better grow up fast.

did you leave the game early? because lewis co. scored 2 tds! the first 4 series we looked bad but the last 2 defensive series we looked good and we scored the last 2 times we was on offense. all 3 teams scored 2 tds a piece. over all i think lewis co. held their own against 2 very good 4a teams

They did hold their own against those 4a schools. But we also play Giles County and Marshall County who are just as good as them. But hey, that's later on in the year. We scrimmage Columbia this Thursday at LC if any of you PC fans would want to come watch. Hopefully we do better this time. Which i think we will because our Line is bigger and stronger than theres. Plus we beat them both times in Passing league. So just think of what we will do on the run game. Hoping the boys work out their funks before then. They looked rusty from the spring. Goodluck to PC in their next scrimmage. Who ever they play.

This will be the season that determines wheather Perry County has a chance to become a traditionaly strong football school(all 1A schools have ups and downs),or dwindles back to one of the weaker schools in the region.Y'all have had a very uncommon graduating class as far as individual athletes for the last two seasons with Mercer,Tucker,ect...and some of those athletes in that time probably wouldn't have played football(from what I understand)if not for Tucker.That era is gone,but if the kids keep the attitude of winners and keep tryouts filled with the best athletes in the county the program will be fine.Ten win seasons are rare,so don't be discouraged when "average" seasons roll around,if the fans keep the faith so will the kids.Traditions are not built overnight,but this program was blessed with a Mr. Football calibre player to jumpstart theirs,so don't take lightly this chance to build on what has been started.

Yeah i believe that the Vikings can win 5 games possibly 6 on the schedule. They do have the exact same schedule as last year but we're the only ones (besides Wayne Co.) that lost a lot of Seniors.
