no, radio your wrong! lewis co. has only beat columbia this year and last year. and by the way, what is a set up scrimmage?

A set up scrimage??? That would be like a little school carrying varsity to play a bigger school JV team. You know to make you feel better about your team. I just asked Dont get on your soap box and preach at me. I was only asking and if it was so it might be a good idea. Last years board was cool ALL-Time I have no horse in this years game mine graduated. You was a good sport after the game and we are still friends. See you at the game.

I'm pretty sure they played all their studs. and I'm pretty sure Bell ran over about 50 people that game. #5 especially. He's their stud reciever. ANd i'm pretty sure that The Columbia coaches went home disappointent in their VARSITY team cause that's who played. So no, it wasn't a set up scrimmage at all. Watch out for Bell and Bennett, Columbia went home crying after those 2 guys got done with em.

I've heard that Columbia isn't as good as they usually are but yes LCPanther it is a accomplishment for the Lewis County team to win that scrimmage and hopefully y'all will have a great season this year. Just not on August 24th.

Columbia isn't as good as they think they are. They own state 2 years ago had one good team. Won all but one regular season last year but that's because there in a easy region in 5A. The lost 1 round at home last year and they are en worse this year. But still there 2 classes higher so yes that is an achievement

Takled with Coach Stowe(Dyersburg)earlier tonight and he thinks LC will be pretty good this season, even said that they gave his squad more trouble than Lexington did, whom most are picking to be one of the top teams in the west...gritty bunch of scrappers.

    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
    • biggest....just saying he is good at what he does. I may or may not have already floated this out his way.   He is a good guy!
    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
